<p>PURPOSE:To choose either powerful moving or economic moving, by using a solenoid valve so that boost pressure acting to the actuator of a waste gate valve is changed to one of two levels. CONSTITUTION:The elastic force of a spring 13 is set so that a gate valve 17 in a by-pass 18 starts opening when pressure of P1mm.Hg acts to the control chamber 11 of an actuator 10. Differential pressure is caused to act to the control chamber 11 by an upstream and a downstream orifices 14, 15 as a solenoid valve 16 is opened and an air passage 21 is opened to the atmosphere through the downstream orifice 15. The gate valve 17 starts opening when such supercharged pressure of P2mm.Hg is attained where that the differential pressure is P1mm.Hg. The supercharged pressure can be changed to two levels of P1mm.Hg and P2mm.Hg by opening and closing the solenoid valve 16.</p> |
