PURPOSE:To produce easily a porous nickel body which is homogeneous and is highly mechanically strong in a short time, by sticking a conductive paint contg. nickel powder on a porous resin body, and applying nickel plating thereon then melting away the resin body. CONSTITUTION:The nickel powder obtd. by grinding with an automated mortar or the like is dispersed in an acetone soln. of about 5-45wt% PVAc as a glue, whereby the conductive paint contg. about 20-80% nickel powder is obtd. The conductive paint is coated on the skeleton surface of a porous resin body of foamed polyurethane or the like and is dried to stick and form the conductive layer. Nickel plating is applied by electroplating on the conductive layer; thereafter, the resin body is melted away, whereby the porous nickel body is obtd. The powder prepd. by grinding nickel carbonyl to <=3mu grain size, more preferably about 2mu average grain size is adequate as the above-mentioned nickel powder. |
