PURPOSE:To regulate the flying state of ink droplets jetted from nozzles by a simplified circuit system in which a regulating means to adjust the rise time and duration time of pulse voltage is provided to a pulse voltage generation means. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that voltage is applied to the terminal 31 of power source and a control voltage corresponding to the signal of reference density picture information is applied to a control voltage terminal 41d, a variable resistance 14b is regulated so that a reference size of ink droplets are jetted from nozzles, to set up the duration time of pulse voltage to be applied to a piezo-electric element 2. Each time the nozzle of a nozzle head is faced the picture element position, a sychronous signal is given to the input interminal 13 to trigger an one-shot multi-circuit 14, and a control voltage to be applied to the control voltage terminal 14d is varied according to density information from the picture information signal generation circuit 26. Whereupon, the size of ink droplets from the nozzles is varied to enable the size of recording dots to be altered. |
