PURPOSE:To eliminate the excessive blank between adjacent printing faces by a method in which an endless belt carrying detachably and exchangeably a printing plate corresponding to a desired printing length is freely exchanged with various lengths of belts. CONSTITUTION:When making a multi-color printing on a continuous sheet through plural printing units, the continuous sheet 12 is held on a pressure cylinder 48 and a printing plate 78 and a desired length of printing is made. In each printing unit, an endless belt 46 connected to the printing cylinder 42 and a regulating cylinder 44, running at a given speed, is detachably and exchangeably provided with a printing plate 78 of a size crresponding to a desired printing length. A quick-drying flexo-ink is transferred from an anilox roll 86 to the printing plate 78. By exchanging the endless belt 46, the printing length on the continuous sheet 12 is varied. |
