PURPOSE:To move less magnetic bubbles in the breadthwise direction during the transfer of them and to reduce the width of a driving area, by making both side parts in the breadthwise direction of the magnetic bubble driving area deeper than the center part in a substrate where a magnetic bubble transfer path is formed under the magnetic bubble driving area. CONSTITUTION:A side part a1 in the breadthwise direction on the side of an C1 of a magnetic bubble driving area A01, both side parts a1' and a2 in the breadthwise direction on the side of areas C1 and C2 of a magnetic bubble driving area A12, both side parts a2' and a3 in the breadthwise direction on the side of areas C2 and C3 of a magnetic bubble driving area A23,... are made deeper than center parts a01, a12.... Therefore, side part a1 and both side parts a1' and a2, a2' and a3... have a potential energy lower than that of center parts a01, a12.... Consequently, it is unnecessary to widen the magnetic very much because magnetic bubbles are not moved in the breadthwise direction of the transfer path, and widths of magnetic bubble driving areas A01, A12,... are reduced. |
