PURPOSE:To increase a precision for judging a terminal quality by photographing an article to be inspected and calculating data obtained as to the obtained picture. CONSTITUTION:An arrow indicates a pressing direction of the press contact, and each pattern indicates an outer contour image of side surface of the terminal press contact. A region is an electrode part, B region is a press contact part of a core wire, C, D regions are middle parts, E region is a covering and holding part, F region is the outer contour image of side surface of the convered wire. Information for judging the quality is included abundantly in the images in A-D regions of the core wire press contact part side in case that a corner 14V of side surface outer contour image of core wire press adhered part side of the electrode part is taken as the reference. Thus, the data obtained by scanning this outer contour image are calculated, and the quality of the press contact terminal is judged automatically based on the result. Thereby, difficulty of the visual inspection can be excluded to increase the inspection efficiency and improved markedly the precision for judging the quality. |
