PURPOSE:To enhance the shape accuracy by forming a coil sheet by folding coil strands and forming inner and outer cylindrical coils of the coil sheets. CONSTITUTION:Coil strands 1 are folded at an equal pitch, and introduced into a mold 61 having grooves of the prescribed width so that the folded part is restricted in the mold 61. The strands 1 are folded so that the direction of the wire is inclined as prescribed to the opposed parallel side formed at the folded part. A mold 62 slides oppositely in the mold 61. The side of the mold 62 is inclined to the slope of the strands 1, and when the mold 62 approaches oppositely, the folded strands 1 are integrally compressed in a sheet shape. The sheet shaped strands 1 thus formed in a cylindrical shape by pressing and bonding the peripheral surfaces of the strands 1 disposed at both sides, and the folded parts are cut to form inner or outer cylindrical coil 11, 12. |
