PURPOSE:To make an operating device smaller in size and easier to operate by providing a control means which displays the set number of sheets during an image forming operation and displays the size of recording paper in the other time. CONSTITUTION:When the lower stage contg. transfer paper of a size A3 is selected by a cassette selection key 86, the respective terminals (a)-(c), (f),(e) and (g) of the output ports F and G in a control part Q1 are turned on by the part Q1 and A3 is displayed on a display part 37. When the number of copying sheets is set at 7 by a numeric key 80, ''07'' is similarly displayed on a device 87. When a copying operation is started as a copying start key 82 is pushed, the display of the set number of sheets on the device 87 is subtracted at every copying and the display is changed to the previous display of the paper size upon lapse of a specified time after the copying of the set number of sheets ends. |
