PURPOSE:To largely simplify the work and to decrease the working cost for a heat pipe, by inserting an injection needle, penetrating through a temporary stopper plug into a heat pipe body, by vacuumizing the inside space and by injecting operating fluid in turn, and after that, by air-tightly closing the end of a main body, after drawing out the injection needle from the plug. CONSTITUTION:A temporary stopper plug 7 is made of highly elastic substance such as rubber, of which outer diameter in the center in the axial direction is made larger than that at both ends, and in which center part of the top end a center recessed part 7A is cut out, as well as to project a seat packing part 7B at the rear end. The temporary stopper plug 7 is air-tightly fitted to the open end of a heat pipe body 1 of which other end has already been closed. Then an injection needle 8 is inserted into the heat pipe body 1, passing through the temporary stopper plug 7. After the air is extracted from the heat pipe body 1 by the injection needle 3, a predetermined quantity of operating fluid is injected into the heat pipe body 1 via the injection needle 8. Then the injection needle 8 is drawn out from the plug 7, and the end of a heat pipe body 1 is hermetically closed by a cap 6. |
