PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency, quality, and reliability by performing automatically and successively a series of operations wherein disks are supplied to plural coating machines continuously and coated disks are taken out of the coating machines and discharged. CONSTITUTION:A handler robot 25 which stops at a home position H.P. opposite to a supplier 1 moves forth a handling part 29 in a (y)-axis direction in response to the disk reception ready signal of a supplying mechanism. The 1st disk 9 held in a holder 10 clamped by a head part 7 is received and clamped by one metallic supporting fixture 28. Then, its clamping completion signal moves the handler robot 25 to a position opposite to an automatic coating machine 31 and the disk 9 is passed to the automatic coating machine 31 in response to a disk attachment request signal. At this time, the handling part 29 moves forth in the (y)-axis direction to clamp the disk 9 in the automatic coating machine 31 and then moves back to its original position. The handler robot 25 returns to the position H.P. while lowering the handling part 29 to the original position. |
