PURPOSE:To solve the problems of a slip and abrasion by interposing a universal collar which have two projections on both surfaces in opposition to each other between a collar receiving part provided to a collect and an elastic pressing device. CONSTITUTION:The collet shaft 6' is provided with the collar receiving part 6a', which is pressed elastically by a carrier leaf spring 5 through the universal collar 12 and a usual collar 13. The universal collar 12 has two projections 12a and 12b on both top and reverse surfaces respectively, and one projection is 90 deg. out of phase with the other. Then, when a collet 7 is brought into press contact with a spindle hub 8 by the elastic pressing device through the universal collar 12 and the collar 13, the free pressure transferring function of the universal collar 12 nearly uniforms the contact pressure between disk holding parts 7a and 8a even when the pressure application direction of the elastic pressing device slants to the axial line of the collet 7, eliminating the slip and abrasion. |
