PURPOSE:To provide a label printer which can produce two labels coincided in the data simply by providing a number of issue selector switch adapted to allow the continuous issuing of two labels on which the same print data set is printed. CONSTITUTION:A label having a bar code printed together with characters and graphics are issued synchronizing the feeding of labels with a thermal head in which a number of heat generating bodies are arranged in the direction perpendicular to the direction of sending labels. Labels are issued one at a time sequentially while two labels having the same print data set printed are issued continuously by the operation of a number of issue selector switch 3a. The life of the thermal head can be extended by printing no bar code on the second label. |
