PURPOSE:To improve the strength and the responsiveness and reduce the degradation by laminating a adhesive porous polymer layer including an electrolytic solution on both faces and a perforated body including the electrolytic solution to provide an electrolyte layer. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive porous polymer layer including the electrolytic solution is laminated on both faces of the perforated body including the electrolytic solution to form the electrolyte layer, and the electrolyte layer is sandwiched between two transparent electrode plates. With respect to a dimming body attained in this manner, the strength of itself is improved to hardly break, and its broken pieces hardly scatter even if it is broken, and the electrolyte is not scattered because of its structure. Since the electrolyte layer consists of three layers, various kinds of material can be used as the center porous material, and the response speed is improved when a material having very high porosity is used. A large quantity of a redox agent is incorporated in the electrolytic solution to reduce the deterioration of the responsiveness of coloring and decoloring. |
