Provided are a color filter substrate (1), a method for fabricating the color filter substrate (1), and a liquid crystal display; the method for fabricating the color filter substrate (1) comprises: fabricating a black matrix (20) on a glass substrate (10); generating color resists of various colors in sequence on the black matrix (20), so as to form a color filter layer (30); each color resist comprising a main body (31) and an extending part (32, 33, or 34), the main body (31) being rectangular, and the extending parts (32, 33, or 34) being located at each of the vertices of the rectangle of the main body and extending toward the opposite side of the rectangle. In the color filter substrate (1), each color resist is provided with an extending part (32, 33, or 34), thus preventing the phenomenon of light leakage; the process of fabrication is simple and costs are low. |
