<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the soil of a magnetic tape and to simplify the structure of a magnetic tape device by attaining the automatic loading of tape with no manual operation only by setting a reel or a cartridge loaded with the reel to a tape feed part. CONSTITUTION:A shielding member 118 is set between a driving motor 151 and a base 116 of a cavity part of a tape feed part 100, and a vent 120 is provided at an end of the member 118 to blow out the high pressure air. The high pressure air exhausted through the vent 120 flows into a space 175 formed by a reel 163 and the base 116 via a space 174 and a gap between a cam 170 and the base 116. The high pressure air blows upward at the space 175 to prevent the free terminal of the tape separated from a reel 113 from falling to the base 116.</p> |
