PURPOSE:To eliminate equipment for circulating catalyst and to save remarkably power consumption required for the corresponding equipment in a continuous moving bed type reactor for removing NOx in the waste gas through adsorption by performing transfer of the catalyst from a regenerator to the reactor using a portion of the waste gas. CONSTITUTION:A regenerator for the catalyst 7 for removing NOx contained in the waste gas by adsorption is provided to the top of a reactor for removing NOx contained in the waste gas. A catalyst bed 4 is provided in the reactor 1 and the waste gas contg. NOx is fed thereto through a dust collector 5 to remove NOx by adsorption. The catalyst which has adsorbed NOx is discharged out of the bottom of the reactor 1, falls into an L-shaped pipe line 10 connected to the bottom of the reactor and accumulates therein. A portion of the waste gas is blown into the L-shaped pipe line 10 at the bottom of the reactor 1 through a gas feeding pipe 11, thus the catalyst in the pipe is lifted and conveyed to a separator 12 where the waste gas is separated from the catalyst and fed through a return pipe 14 to the electric precipitator 5; the catalyst is fed to a hopper 15 and then to a regenerator 7 through a chute 16, where it is regenerated and fed to the reactor 1 again. |
