<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the waiting time for reproduction and to always perform the program searching of a next track by rapid-traversing a tape in case no reproduced signal is detected and a sensing switch is not short-circuited. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge switch SW1 and a start switch 4 are turned on, the outputs of NAND gates B and C constituting a latch circuit are set at a high level. Then transistors TR1 and 2 are turned on and off respectively via an NAND gate G and an AND gate D, and therefore a tape has the normal traveling. The output of a reproduction detecting circuit 7 is inverted at a no- signal part 2 of the tape, and the output of the gate G is inverted to a low level. Thus the TR1 and 2 are turned off and on respectively. Then the tape is driven at a high speed until the TR1 and 2 are turned off to stop the tape driving after a sensing switch SW2 is short-circuited through a sensing tape part 3 and the outputs of gates C and G are inverted. Therefore the next track starts immediately at its program searching part with no waiting time.</p> |
