PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn having high strength, by dissolving a polymer in conc. sulfuric acid to give spinning dope, passing it through pores of a porous plate at specific linear speed, extruding it from an orifice of a spinneret to a noncoagulating atmosphere, introducing it as a fibrous dope stream into a coagulating bath. CONSTITUTION:A poly-paraphenylene terephthalamide polymer is dissolved in 95-101wt% conc. sulfuric acid to give spinning dope, which is introduced from the feed pipe 4 to the holder 3, passed through once an orifice of the one or more layer porous plate 2 set at >=about 10mm. distance from an orifice of the spinneret 1 in the upper stream of the flow at least >=30% linear speed based on linear speed at pasing of the orifice of the spinneret, passed through the orifice of the spinneret 1, extruded into the noncoagulating atmosphere 5, formed into the fibrous dope steam 7, and introduced to the coagulating bath 6, to give the desired yarn. |
