PURPOSE:To activate easily electrode and O2-ion electro-conductive board, by supplying continually a driving electric current to a sensor after elapse of pumping time also and causing electro-conduction to be generated in electrode and O2-iron electro-conductive board. CONSTITUTION:After setting a sensor 1 in the mid air, it is heated up to temperature above 600 deg.C. Next, by creating a pumping action by supplying a driving electric current to a O2-ion electro-conductive board 2 of sensor 1, O2 inside a capsule 4 is discharged to the outside, allowing content of O2 inside the capsule (especially in the neighbourhood of an electrode) to drop. After elapse of pumping time, the driving electric current is supplied continuously to the O2-ion electro-conduction board 2, allowing electro-conductive to occur in O2-ion electric- conduction board 2 and electrode 3 and thus, O2-ion electric-conductive board 2 and electrode 3 are activated. |
