PURPOSE:To enable absorption of different loads at both ends of a filter cloth tensing roller by connecting piston rods moving integrally between pneumatic cylinders and hydraulic cylinders to both ends of said roller and connecting respectively the front chambers and rear chambers of the hydraulic cylinders by means of pipings. CONSTITUTION:The piston rods 11A and 11A' as well as 11B and 11B' of pneumatic cylinders 8A, 8B and hydraulic cylinders 14A, 14B are integrally connected and are connected to both ends of a filter cloth tensing roller 9. A selector valve 18 is kept set in a normal position and pressure air is forced through a pipeline 20 into the rear chambers 8A'', 8B'' of the cylinders 8A, 8B. Pneumatic pistons 10A, 10B are moved leftward by the pressure thereof to move leftward the roller 9, thereby applying desired tension on the filter cloth. The oils in the front oil chambers 14A', 14B' of the cylinders 14A, 14B are transferred respectively through pipings 22, 23 to the rear oil chambers 14B'', 14A'' by as much as the extent of the movement of hydraulic pistons 21A, 21B. The pressure difference of the pressure air is thus absorbed. |
