SWITCHING DEVICE HAVING PARALLEL PIVOTS FOR CONTACT MEMBERS

A switching device having a casing of plastic material with at least two parallel pivots forming pivot pins for contact members. Each pivot consists of an assembly of at least two portions one of which is in the form of an anchoring base incorporated in the casing during molding and which is provided with a centering hole for engagement during molding with a centering pin which forms a part of the mold. After molding a second portion of the pivot in the form of a stud is positioned in a bore in the anchoring base. This provides precise parallelism and positioning of the parallel pivots and secure fastening to the casing.
