PURPOSE:To provide a precision moving device with less generation of heat when feeding and saving electricity by providing a reverse acting electromagnetic clutch in a slight feeding drive system and a normal acting electromagnetic clutch in a rapid feeding drive system. CONSTITUTION:A slight feeding motor 31 is mounted on a fixing table 32. The shaft of a deceleration gear 30 is connected to a shaft 34 with a coupling 33. The shaft 34 is supported by a bearing 35, and by a bearing 37 in the electromagnet 36 of a reverse acting electromagnetic clutch. A rotary disk 39 which holds a spring 38 inside and which is a part of the reverse acting electromagnetic clutch, is fixed to the other end of a shaft 34. On the other hand, a rapid feeding drive system is fitted to a screw shaft 42 through a gear 51. A rapid feeding motor 52 is connected to a shaft 53 through a coupling 54 and a normal acting electromagnetic clutch 55 is connected to the shaft 53. The slight feeding of a moving table 37 is carried out with the power sources of the both clutches turned off, whereas, the rapid feeding is carried out with the power sources of the both clutches turned on.
