摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate surely an instantaneous stop signal component at the transmission of picture and to prevent completely the instantaneous stop of the equipment due to mis-recognition of detection of the instantaneous stop signal by providing a means eliminating the instantaneous stop signal to a pre-stage or a post-stage modulating picture information during the transmission of picture. CONSTITUTION:A binary-coded picture signal is converted into a ternary signal by a binary-ternary value converting circuit 1 of the facsimile equipment, the band is limited by an LPF2 and the result is inputted to a BPF3. Before the picture information at picture transmission is modulated by a modulator 5, the BPF3 eliminate a component having a frequency subtracting the frequency of the instantaneous stop signal from the frequency of a carrier. The carrier of the output signal of the BPF3 is modulated by the modulator 5 and transmitted to a receiving side via a residual side band filter 6, a hybrid circuit 8, and a network controller 9 or the like. Further, an equalizer 10 at the receiving side receives a signal branched by the circuit 8 and the signal is demodulated by a demodulator 13 via an LPF11. Further, an output of the LPF11 detects the presence or absence of the instantaneous stop signal by a PIF signal detection circuit 14 to prevent malfunction of the equipment.
