PURPOSE:To produce a projected pattern for braille uniform in shape on a recording paper provided with a heat-generating foam layer at high speed, by providing a pattern with recessed parts corresponding to an arrangement of embossed brailles. CONSTITUTION:By rotating the platen 13 making contact with a heating element group 12, projected braille patterns are recorded on the recording paper 10 provided with the heat-generating foam layer. The platen 13 is provided with the recessed parts 14 corresponding to the arrangement of brailles, and recording is conducted through the heating element group 12 at the part of the recording paper 10 making contact with the recessed parts 14. Accordingly, the projected patterns are shaped by the recessed parts 14, crushing or the like does not occur, and projected braille patterns uniform in shape can be produced at a high speed, thereby printing is performed. |
