摘要 PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the engine cooling heat, improve the heating effect, and save energy in a large bus by providing a subradiator between a traveling engine cooling water outlet and a hot water boiler. CONSTITUTION:When the heating is used, the cooling water depriving an engine 1 of its heat discharges the heat into a room while passing a sub-radiator 9 and a defroster 8, and the inlet water temperature of a hot water boiler 6 is lowered. Here, the heat radiation quantity upstream the boiler 6 is made equal to that downstream, e.g., 11,024kcal/H is assumed to be radiated at the upstream side and the downstream side respectively, then the inlet water temperature of the boiler 6 becomes 65.8 deg.C, lower by 9.2 deg.C than the outlet side water temperature of the engine 1 of 75 deg.C. Therefore, if 11,024kcal/H is added by the boiler 6, the inlet water temperature of a main radiator 7 becomes 75 deg.C, equal to the outlet side water temperature of the engine 1; then 11,024kcal/H is radiated by the main radiator 7 to lower the water temperature by 9.2 deg.C, and the water of 65.8 deg.C flows into the engine 1. Thereby, an increase in capability when the hot water boiler is used for heating can be 100% utilized, and the heat efficiency is remarkably improved.
