PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to provide information to recommend a commodity in which a registered user is likely to be interested.SOLUTION: An information providing server 3 acquires information on contribution by a registered user, specifies preference of the registered user on a predetermined commodity group on the basis of the contribution information, and specifies another one or more registered users permitting provision of recommendation information based on the preference of a registered user as publication target users, and a registered user who is logging in to an image forming apparatus 1 transmits recommendation information based on the preference of another registered user included in the publication target users. The image forming apparatus 1 executes printing of the recommendation information.
