<p>PURPOSE:To provide a self-adhesive tape which shows pressure sensitive adhesion only between formed films, prepd. by treating a base tape coated with an aqueous soln. of a rubber latex and a water-soluble adhesive, with an anti-blocking agent on one or both sides. CONSTITUTION:A homogeneous aqueous soln. of a water-soluble adhesive and a rubber latex in a blend ratio of 0.48-1.80/1 by weight, is applied to a base tape on one or both sides thereof and, after drying, the coated surface is treated with an anti-blocking agent (e.g. high purity SiO2 in fine powder or polymethylsiloxane). The coating film on the surface of the self-adhesive tape has high adhesive strength to another coating film against tensile force in a horizontal direction but can be readily peeled off at right angles and shows no adhesive power to other materials. For example, a tape having the coating layers on both sides is wound round an article for tight self-adhesion of overlapped areas to effect packaging or bundling.</p> |
