摘要 PURPOSE:To secure optimum drivability for each car type, by constituting an independent suspension in a way of specifying a body coupling point for a second link and a lateral body side coupling point of a camber control mechanism consisting of both first and second control links, respectively, in case of a device bearing the above caption, which is of independent suspension in type. CONSTITUTION:A camber control mechanism 4 is constituted of both first and second control links 17 and 18, while a coupling point A between the second control link 18 and a body subframe 7 is made to be eccentric as far as a portion for (a) a straight line X-X connecting a body side coupling point B of a trailing arm 2 to another body side coupling point C of a lateral link 3. In addition, a coupling point D at the side of the trailing arm 3 of the lateral link 3 is situated more rearward as far as a portion for (b) than a rotative center axis Y-Y of a rear wheel 12. With this constitution, eccentric values (a), (b) and length of the link 18 are properly set up so that the setting of a camber angle variation is freely achievable, thus optimum drivability is securable.
