PURPOSE:To prevent local abrasion of sliding means for smooth operation of a vertically S-shaped bucket conveyor by providing a bush extending through the middle portion of a chain link plate and loosely fitting therewith a supporting shaft projectiong from either side of a bucket. CONSTITUTION:An S-shaped conveyor has four endless chains 8a to 8d arranged in parallel and trained around chain pulleys 2, 3 provided at the lower and upper ends of a frame 1 and chain pulleys 4, 5, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b provided at the intermediate corner portions, and the two outside chains 8a, 8b are engaged with the fulcra on both sides of the rear portion of a bucket 9, while the two inside chains 8c, 8d are engaged with the fulcra on both sides of the front portion. In order to engage the chain 38 with the rear portion of the bucket 9, a chain link 39 of the chain 38 has at the middle portion thereof a hole 40 into which a bush 41 is fitted. A pin 36 projecting from either side of the bucket 9 is fully fitted into the bush 41. |
