PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyether ketone usable as an engineering plastic, using a compound which can be manufactured from biomass as a raw material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes a polymerization step of producing polyether ketone having a repeating unit represented by the formula 3 by polymerizing furan dicarboxylate dichloride (a compound A) and a compound B represented by the formula 2. In formulae, Ar is same or different each other and represents a p-phenylene group or a m-phenylene group, and n represents 0 or a positive integer. |
