PURPOSE:To provide a cutting oil for tool which does not cause cutting scorch nor corrosion of workpiece, prepd. by adding specified phosphorus compd. and amine to a base oil. CONSTITUTION:0.1-30wt% phosphorus compd. of formula I -VIII (where R is 4- 24C alkyl, 4-24C alkenyl, aryl, 7-24C aralkyl or 7-24C alkylaryl; n is 1-24) and an amine which is used in such an amt. that molar ratio between the phosphorus compd. and the amine may be 20:1-1:5, are added to a base oil selected from among mineral oil, fatty oil, synthetic lubricating oil, etc. When necessary, additives such as rust inhibitor, antioxidant, extreme-pressure agent and defoamer, are added. |
