PURPOSE:To vary magnification to high reduction magnification with simple and small-sized constitution by constituting a device so that a focusing lens is shifted from the optical path between the third mirror and a shift mirror to that between the shift mirror and a photosensitive body in case of a high reduction. CONSTITUTION:In case that magnification is switched from unmagnification to high reduction magnification to obtain copies reduced to, for example, 50%, a focusing lens shift means is operated, and a focusing lens 19 is moved to the second optical path 17 from the first optical path 13, and the focusing lens 19 having a focal length (f) is moved for the length (f) and is shifted to a position 19a. For the purpose of changing the optical path length by f/2 fo focus the lens, a shift mirror 18 is moved to a position 18a to perform magnification conversion. Thereafter, prescribed exposure scanning and copying operation are executed to obtain copy pictures of a high reduction where an origianl image is reduced to 50%. Consequently, magnification is varied to high reduction magnification in the small-sized and simple constitution only with the focusing lens without adding lenses. |
