PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions containing a vinyl ester mixture of α,α-branched carboxylic acid exhibiting attractive properties in coating, adhesive or composite applications.SOLUTION: The invention provides a composition comprising an α,α-branched carboxylic acid vinyl ester obtained by reacting acetylene in the presence of a zinc salt with an acid isomeric composition containing a higher proportion of non-blocking isomers obtained with CO and water using as an olefin feed a propylene oligomer, in particular a PT3 mixture with a high concentration of highly branched isomers.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
