<p>PURPOSE:To access an optical storage card having a large capacity at random by reading out all data on the optical storage card and storing them temporarily in a random access memory in accordance with arrangement in a storage area of the optical storage card. CONSTITUTION:A reflected light from a storage area 2 under a detecting part 71 is converted to an electric signal by a photoelectric transducer group 72 and is converted to signal ''1'' or ''0'' in accordance with difference of level due to presence/absence of a minute hole by a decider 74. Data is stored in a buffer memory 91 by a write signal from an address counter 92. After storing, a card chip is moved in the lengthwise direction by a movement indicating signal of the counter 92. When the detecting part 71 and the card chip are moved relatively, brightness detected by an optical fiber 82 is converted photoelectrically by a positioning device 81 and is counted by a counter. When the counted value reaches a prescribed value, the device 81 outputs a positioning signal to stop movement. Thereafter, data is stored in the memory 91, and this operation is repeated hereafter to store all data in the memory 91. Thus, the optical storage card having a large capacity is accessed at random.</p> |
