<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a fuel tank by forming a plurality of convex stripes having a nearly wave-form section which nearly cross with the longitudinal direction onto at least the upper surface of the tank, thus permitting the expansion and contraction of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A fuel tank 42 made of synthetic resin which is used for a tricycle for rough-road traveling is installed so as to ride over a main tube 18 which extends in the longitudinal direction on the frame of the tricycle, and installed onto a pipe 52 integrally formed with a vertical tube 40 through a rubber damper 50 by use of a pair of installation rings 48 which project onto an undersurface. A plurality of convex stripes having a nearly wave-form section are formed in the direction crossing with the longitudinal direction of the tank 42. Therefore, the upper surface of the tank 42 is provided with the expandability in the longitudinal direction, and the expansion and contraction of the fuel tank 42 due to the suction and discharge of fuel are permitted, and the deformation of the tank 42 is prevented.</p> |
