PURPOSE:To perform program processing equivalent to branch processing without inserting a conditional branch instruction by providing a condition deciding means based upon the information in the condition decision field of a microinstruction to be executed. CONSTITUTION:A microinstruction A' is read out of a control memory 10 and set in a register 20. When bit information with logic 0 for specifying the unconditional execution of an instruction is set in an instruction execution specifying field 22, the instruction A' specified by the information in the instruction specifying field 21 is executed regardless of a condition decision result signal 41. A next instruction B' is set in the register 20, information specifying instruction execution OFC when condition is not satisfied is set in the condition decision specifying field 23 of the instruction B', and bit information with logic 1 specifying conditional execution of the instruction is set in a field 22. In this case, a signal 41 of ''0'' when OFC is allowed or ''1'' when not is outputted to allow or inhibit the execution of the instruction B' according to the inverted signal of an inverter 50. |
