INK RIBBON LIFT PREVENTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To fit an ink ribbon securely and easily and prevent misfitting, by a construction wherein an end part on the hammer cover side of a sub ribbon separator is bent to enter the inside of a hammer cover. CONSTITUTION:A part on the hammer cover 70 side of the sub ribbon separator 220 proximate to a front yoke 17 is bent to enter the inside of the hammer cover 70. The configuration of the hammer cover 70 in the vicinity of this part is so modified that it does not interfere with the sub ribbon separator 220 reciprocated together with a hammer unit 10 in this condition. Accordingly, such misfitting as to fit the ink ribbon 20 between the sub ribbon separator 220 and the front yoke 17 can be prevented from occurring.
