PURPOSE:To raise a detecting accuracy of a signal by providing a rotating body having plural magnetic poles magnetized alternately to the opposite polarity on the outside circumferential surface, and plural magneto-resistance bodies which are opposed to this rotating body and vary an electric resistance in accordance with a variation of a magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic signal detecting device has a drum, and a magnetic signal is recorded at an equal interval on a drum outside circumference 2. Also, magnetic poles 2a, 2b show a signal of a different polarity, respectively. Also, a detecting part 11 has magneto-resistance elements 21, 22, 23, 31, 32 and 33, and 21, 22 and 23, and 31, 32 and 33 form the first detecting part and the second signal detecting part, respectively. According to such a constitution, an influence of an error of a magnetizing signal of a body to be detected can be reduced to 1/n in accordance with the number (n) of the magneto-resistance elements of one side, and accordingly, the detecting accuracy can be raised. |
