PURPOSE:To make suction of fiber bundle at nozzle inlet better, and to prevent deterioration of quality cuased by mechanical action of fiber bundle in the nozzle, by providing the middle part of a pipe wall of false twist nozzle of the air jet type with a flow channel for discharging air passing through it in the shaft direction. CONSTITUTION:The false twist nozzle 3 for air jetting set directly in the downstream of the final rollers 2 and 2' of a drafting device is successively provided with the inlet part 4, the small diameter part 6, and the large diameter part 8 in the progress direction of the fiber bundle 1. The air jetting hole 9 for jetting air flow to a fiber passage in the connection direction and in the direction to promote the traveling of the fiber bundle 1 is opened in the inner wall of the larger diameter part 8. At least one of the air channel 12 passing through the end part 13 of downstream is set in the wall of the large diameter part 8 of the nozzle 3, and the exhaust hole 11 connecting the wall face of the downstream of the air jet hole 9 to the air channel 12 is set slantingly to the downstream side. |
