PURPOSE:To enable to finely change and control the mixing ratio of fuel in an engine in which a mixed fuel is supplied, by supplying one fuel at a constant rate while changing the supply rate of the other fuel. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 comprises a high-quality fuel supply system 4 for supplying A-type heavy oil to a fuel pump 2 via a tank 6 and a feed pump 8 and a low-quality fuel supply system 5 for supplying C-type heavy oil to the fuel pump 2 via a tank 7, a feed pump 9, control pumps 10a-10d and back-pressure regulating valves 11a-11d. The A-type heavy oil is supplied always at a constant rate while the mixing ratio of the C-type heavy oil is changed by controlling the number of the control pumps 10a-10d to be operated according to the engine load. |
