PURPOSE:To prevent a misoperation by setting automatically an original press- contacting member to an opening and closing mode when a prescribed time elapses, after an image forming operation has been ended. CONSTITUTION:A CPU28 executes information processing by using a RAM30 in accordance with a program in a ROM29. Each information from a reset mode selecting button 27, an operating mode selecting button 26, a start button 25, a closed switch 20, an opened switch 21, and a copying end signal generating means 31 is inputted to the CPU28 through an input interface 32. The CPU28 processes each input information, and thereafter, sends out a control signal to a motor driver 19 and a solenoid driver 18, by which a motor 14 is driven, an original press-contacting plate is driven to closing or opening, also a solenoid 16 is energized or de-energized, and an original press-contacting device is switched to a manual or automatic opening and closing mode. |
