PURPOSE:To reduce exhaustion of unburnt components upto low rotary region while maintaining deceleration feeling, in a controller where a throttle valve is opened slightly under deceleration where the engine rotation is higher than setting level, by changing said setting level to low level upon stepping of brake. CONSTITUTION:A controller 19 will feed a signal to a solenoid valve 9 provided in the negative pressure path of negative pressure actuator 4 for driving the throttle valve in intake path 1 when the engine rotation 14 exceeds over the setting level 15 to open the throttle valve 3 wider than the idling opening. Upon stepping of brake pedal 10 under deceleration, a pressure switch 13 will detect variation of hydraulic pressure to provide a signal to voltage correction circuit 16 thus to correct the output (a) from setting voltage generating circuit 15 to the level at the low rotation side. Consequently, under brake operation, the throttle valve 3 is opened wider than the idle opening upto low rotation region resulting in reduction of unburnt components in exhaust gas. |
