PURPOSE:To make an engine so as not to be stalled in time of ungearing from a high engine speed as well as in time of such load or the like being added, by compensating a response lag attributable to the response lag of a cylinder suction air quantity at variations in the engine speed. CONSTITUTION:An ignition timing controller for an internal-combustion engine is provided with an ignition timing calculating device C calculating the ignition timing commensurate to an engine operation state and an actual torque calculating device A calculating an actual torque equivalent value equal to ideal generating torque in an engine on the basis of an engine speed and a suction pipe intake air quantity. In addition, it is provided with an ideal torque calculating device B calculating the ideal torque equivalent value equal to the ideal generating torque of the engine on the basis of the engine speed and the suction pipe intake air quantity, and an ignition timing compensating device D compensating the ignition timing calculated by the ignition timing calculating device C on the basis of both numerations of the actual torque calculating device A and the ideal torque calculating device B. |
