PURPOSE:To efficiently cool lubricating oil in a gear reduction machine, by catching the oil, splashed by the action of gears, to be collected and allowing the oil to flow down along external walls, arranged in a casing of the reduction machine, of an evaporator. CONSTITUTION:A casing 1 of reduction machine forms in its bottom part a lubricating oil reservoir 9 lubricating each gear 2-4 and bearing parts, immersing a part of the gears 3, 4 for transmission and output in the lubricating oil reservoir 9. A plate-shaped lubricating oil collector 5 catches oil, caused splashing up by the gears, to be collected, and the oil is allowed to flow down through a scattering sump 6 and flow-down holes 7 forming an oil film along both surfaces of plate-shaped external walls of an evaporator 8. Transmitted heat from the oil to a heat transmission medium as the latent heat is emitted to the outside from a condenser 13 outside the casing of the reduction machine. |
