NEW MATERIAL:Heterocyclic compounds of formula I wherein R1, R2 are each H, (substd.) alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, (substd.) phenyl ; R3, R4, R5 are H, lower alkyl; X is H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, a group of formula IIor III ; Y is CN, NO2, a group of formula IV or V ; R6 is H, lower alkyl, (lower alkyl, halogen or lower alkoxy-substd.) phenyl ; A, A' are each O, S. EXAMPLE:Compound of formula VI. USE:Dyes or pigments which dye or color hydrophobic fiber materials, synthetic resins, etc. reddish blue to greenish blue with good fastness. PREPARATION:A compd. of formula VII (wherein A, A' are as defined above) is reacted with a compd. of formula VIII (wherein X, R2, R3, R4, R5 are as defined above) in an insoluble solvent. If desired, the R1 group is introduced to obtain the compd. of formula I .
