PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which the connector housing can be pulled out smoothly from a cage, and to provide a cable with a connector.SOLUTION: A connector 70 which is locked by means of locking pieces 91, 92 provided in a cage 9, when fitted thereto, includes a connector housing 3 where a recess 30 to be engaged with the locking pieces 91, 92 is formed, and a slide member 5 for disengaging the locking pieces 91, 92 and recess 30. The connector housing 3 is formed by coupling a first housing member 1 and a second housing member 2, and the tip 910 of the locking piece 91 slides on the second side face 3b where the recess 30 is formed, when leaving the cage 9. Out of the joint of the first and second housing members 1, 2 in the second side face 3b, at least the portion 3e crossing the tip 910 of the locking piece 91 at first, when the connector housing 3 leaves the cage 9, is inclined for the attachment and detaching direction with the cage 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
