Solar energy collection device with heat absorber

A solar energy collector device has an absorber (2) which has at least one channel (4) for supply of a heat extracting liquid. A housing (6) constructed around the absorber (2) has radiation transmitting windows which cover both sides of the absorbers (2) and are spatially separated from it (2). A bulk head device (8) is attached between the absorber (2) and the housing (6) to minimise air circulation from the space (10a) between one absorber surface and the housing, and the space (10b) between the other absorber surface and the housing, thus reducing convection losses in the absorber.
