A closure end cap assembly (10) for a conveyor roller has a hollow inner cylindrical member (14) adapted to fit onto a roller shaft; a hollow outer cylindrical member (12) adapted to be fitted into a conveyor roller shell or cylinder; a number of outer annular projections (26) provided spaced apart axially on the outside of the inner cylindrical member (14); and a number of inner annular projections (18) provided spaced apart axially on the inside of the outer cylindrical member (12) and interleaved with the outer annular projections (26) of the inner cylindrical member so as to define a labyrinth path for inhibiting ingress of dirt and moisture from outside into a conveyor roller. <IMAGE> |
