PURPOSE:To prevent the quenching of a spark by providing a discharging circuit on each of two main capasitors, extending the arc duration in a medium speed, and increasing the secondary current in a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A serial circuit of a diode 7 and the first main capacitor 16 and a serial circuit of a diode 8 and the second main capacitor 17 are connected to the output terminals of generating coils 1, 2 of a magnet generator. The first and second main thyristors 13, 14 discharge the charges charged in the capacitors 16, 17 into the primary coil 18a of an ignition coil 18. A conduction control circuit 20 allows the first and second main thyristors 13, 14 to conduct separately at the medium speed of an internal-combustion engine, and it allows both of them to conduct concurrently in a high speed. Accordingly, irregular combustion, etc. can be prevented in a medium speed, and the quenching of a spark can be prevented. |
