PURPOSE:To obtain a stable aq. coating soln., to prevent danger of ignition and explosion, and adverse influence to human health by dissolving a nonsilver photosensitive compsn. in an org. solvent, dispersing and emulsifying it into water, and then, removing the org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:A nonsilver photosensitive compsn. is dissolved in an org. solvent, the obtained soln. is dispersed and emulsified into water, and then, the org. solvent is dissolved. As the org. solvent, ones having low m.p. and low solubility in water are used, and the soln. is dispersed and emulsified into water in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer. The aq. coating fluid thus obtained is applied to a properly surface treated material, and dried to form a homogeneous film superior in surface property. Such a coating soln. has no danger of ignition and explosion and no adverse influence to human health, therefore, the coating and drying devices need not install explosion prevention, ignition countermeasures, and solvent recovery equipments, and safe coating operation can be executed by using this aq. coating fluid. |
